DESCRIPTION:For 2025 we will be following the Narrative Lectionary in Sunday worship and in our weekly Bible Study. \nThe schedule of the Narrative Lectionary is such that we’ll have the chance to focus on the Gospel of Luke as we explore this author’s rendition of our sacred story through Pentecost. \nLuke’s author\, a physician\, offers us an earthy\, embodied gospel\, featuring a Christ with dirt under his nails and unrelenting solidarity with the poor and marginalized. \nReadings for the month of January are as follows: \n\nFebruary 6 – Luke 7:1-17\nFebruary 13 – Luke 7:18-35\nFebruary 20 – Luke 7:36-50\nFebruary 27 – Luke 9:28-45\n\nWe’ll meet in the Community Room at noon on Thursdays. Please feel free to bring a lunch if you want to! \n
