SUMMARY:Poinsettia Sale
DESCRIPTION:We will begin taking Poinsettia Orders on November 17. For this annual fund drive\, you may purchase a poinsettia for $15. We will decorate the sanctuary with the flowers for Christmas Eve and after service you can take them home. The proceeds from the poinsettia sale will go toward the UCC Christmas Fund special collection. The sale will end on December 17. \nThe Christmas Fund\, managed by the UCC Pension Boards\, helps active and retired clergy and lay employees of the UCC to make ends meet. In 2023 over $1 million was used to supplement the pensions of over 200 retired clergy\, with nearly another million given for health care expenses\, emergency funds\, and Christmas gifts. \nIf you do not wish to purchase a poinsettia\, but do wish to donate to the Christmas Fund\, you can make a donation on Christmas Eve or donate in advance by clicking the Donate button at angolaucc.org and choosing “UCC Christmas Fund” from the dropdown menu.
