SUMMARY:Trans Day of Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:November 20 is Trans Day of Remembrance — an internationally recognized day of remembering the lives of our trans friends and neighbors whose lives were cut short by hatred and violence. \nThis year\, the FCUCC Open & Affirming committee is teaming up with Steuben Pride to organize and host a walk and vigil the evening of Friday\, 11/20\, here in Angola. \nWe will walk from FCUCC to the Mound for some witnessing and candle lighting\, and walk back to FCUCC for a time of fellowship\, sharing memories of dear ones gone too soon\, some time of quiet reflection and/or prayer\, and probably some snacks. We are still working to iron out the details\, but will update this page as plans progress. We hope you’ll join us! \n
