DESCRIPTION:During this season of Advent\, our Narrative Lectionary readings explore some of God’s “greatest hits” when it comes to new beginnings\, culminating in the new beginning initiated by the birth of Jesus on Christmas. These will be great stories that give us plenty to think and talk about! \nWe’ll meet in Pastor J’s office at noon on Thursdays. DESCRIPTION:Join us “In the Dark” this Advent. Both in person and on Zoom\, we’ll have special Advent services this December using the work of Poor Bishop Hooper. \nServices will be at 6 pm on Dec. 4\, Dec. 11\, Dec. 18\, and Dec. 22. Note that the first 3 services are on Thursdays and the 4th and final service is on a Monday. \nThrough music and Scripture\, we’ll follow Zechariah\, Mary\, Elizabeth\, and Joseph as they journey into divinely ordained parenthood. While we recommend you join us in-person for these services for fullness of participation\, they will be livestreamed so you may participate online\, via YouTube. \n
