SUMMARY:Summer Education Series
DESCRIPTION:This summer we’ll have three educational events\, one per month. Join us after worship and learn lots! \nOn ONA Sunday\, June 29\, and in recognition of Pride Month\, we’ll have a brief lesson in the church and queer history. We’ll explore the development of LGBTQ+ acceptance and inclusion in the Christian tradition\, and its impact in the broader community. \nIn July\, on the 6th\, we’ll dive into the religious grounding and legacy of MLK Jr.’s activism and the state of civil rights in our country. \nAnd in our last education session\, on August 17\, we’ll learn about Catholic activist Dorothy Day and the movement for economic justice. \nLook for more detailed information in our summer newsletters. \n
