November 20 is Trans Day of Remembrance — an internationally recognized day of remembering the lives of our trans friends and neighbors whose lives were cut short by hatred and violence.

This year, the FCUCC Open & Affirming committee is teaming up with Steuben Pride to organize and host a walk and vigil the evening of Friday, 11/20, here in Angola.

We will walk from FCUCC to the Mound for some witnessing and candle lighting, and walk back to FCUCC for a time of fellowship, sharing memories of dear ones gone too soon, some time of quiet reflection and/or prayer, and probably some snacks. We are still working to iron out the details, but will update this page as plans progress. We hope you’ll join us!
